Ordinary Membership

$15.35 per fortnight (inclusive of GST) $399.10 per annum

Ordinary Membership may be granted to:

• Principals, Deputy Principals, and Heads of School of Queensland State Schools.
• Principals, Deputy Principals, and Heads of School in acting positions for over one semester in a Queensland state school (in which instance Ordinary Membership is limited to a period of one year being the year in which they hold the relevant position).
• Those who have held substantive positions as Principals, Deputy Principals, or Heads of School in a Queensland state school but who currently occupy other administrative roles or hold positions in regional offices, central office or are on secondment to Education Queensland.

Rights of Members:

• Nominate for election to the Management Committee and/or for the position of President;
• Vote for the election of the Officers, including the President; and
• Vote at Branch meetings, State Council meetings (where a State Council Member), annual General meetings and Special General Meetings.
