Dear Members

Primary school leaders in Queensland were hoping that there would be some good news for primary schools contained in this year’s state budget, and there are positive early signs that this has occurred. For a start, this is a record budget for education in Queensland. There is also an additional $300 million allocated to school maintenance over the next four years. 2015 State Conference

Our State Conference was held on Thursday 6 August – Friday 7 August at the Cairns Convention & Exhibition Centre. This state conference featured 4 keynote experts and three master classes.

Thank you to school leaders and their teams for their attendance of our State Conference.

We actively use feedback to constantly improve our services to members and their school teams.

To assist us with the planning for future conferences, please participate in our conference survey which will take you 5 - 10 minutes.

The QASSP Futures Plan for Primary Schools was launched at the state conference in July 2014.

2015 Coaching for School Leaders Program

After a successful members for members Coaching Trial in 2014, QASSP will be running the Coaching for School Leaders Program again this year. The program will be open to all financial members of QASSP.  

Expressions of interest are sought for the following:

  • Coach - Current financial member of QASSP with current Growth Coaching International accreditation (successful completion of Phase 4 - Certificate must be provided).  
  • Client - Current financial member of QASSP.
