Dear Members

I trust that NAPLAN is not causing too great a distraction in most school communities. I hope that at your school it formed just a small part of another busy school week. However, it is interesting that with each passing year, there seems to be a greater focus on the deleterious effects of high stakes testing with psychologists appearing on a number of television shows as well as in print media this week to discuss the negative effects children (and sometimes parents) are experiencing as well as possible strategies to mitigate these. We are excited to announce that our State Conference will be held on Thursday 6 August – Friday 7 August at the Cairns Convention & Exhibition Centre.

2015 Coaching for School Leaders Program

After a successful members for members Coaching Trial in 2014, QASSP will be running the Coaching for School Leaders Program again this year. The program will be open to all financial members of QASSP.  

Expressions of interest are sought for the following:

  • Coach - Current financial member of QASSP with current Growth Coaching International accreditation (successful completion of Phase 4 - Certificate must be provided).  
  • Client - Current financial member of QASSP.
