Welcome back! I trust that all school leaders had a pleasant Easter break and found the time to engage in some personal priorities. Term 2 is already well underway with Anzac Day recognition holding centre-stage in Week 1. The range of commemorative ceremonies undertaken highlights the importance of this special day to us as Australians, especially in this year of the Anzac centenary.

Schools across Queensland continue to recognise Anzac Day in many different ways. These ceremonies have in recent times become even more important in ensuring our younger generations understand the significance of the day and continue the tradition. The QASSP Futures Plan for Primary Schools was launched at the state conference in July 2014.

2015 Coaching for School Leaders Program

After a successful members for members Coaching Trial in 2014, QASSP will be running the Coaching for School Leaders Program again this year. The program will be open to all financial members of QASSP.  

Expressions of interest are sought for the following:

  • Coach - Current financial member of QASSP with current Growth Coaching International accreditation (successful completion of Phase 4 - Certificate must be provided).  
  • Client - Current financial member of QASSP.
